6-7 June 2016 – Ms. Katharina Wilkin of #action medeor visits project beneficiaries in #Negros Occidental.

#Community health workers (CHWs) from Haciendas Ilimnan. Ylanan, ARB, Perez and Cuison are undergoing a #Herbal Making training during her visit. This training is facilitated by the #Negros Island Health Integrated Program (NIHIP). The CHWs learned how to prepare #Lagundi #syrup, #turmeric powder, and #Makabuhay (Tinospora rumphii Boerl) #ointment and #Acapulco (Cassia alata L) ointment during their practicum.

Ms. Wilkin also witnessed the turn-over ceremony of carabaos, plows and seeds to representatives of each hacienda.
