Typhoon Pedring (Nesat) left Php 14.9 billion in damages to agriculture and infrastructure, surpassing the Php 12.3 billion in damages wrought by Typhoon Ondoy in 2009, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said.
NDRRMC reported 12.7 billion damage to agriculture (crops, livestock, fisheries) and 2.1 billion in infrastructures (schools, hospitals, roads, bridges).

A total of 12,752 families or 62,655 persons were affected by landslides and flooding in the province of Albay and nearby areas caused by moderate to heavy rains since December 29, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.

41 volcanic earthquakes were detected by Bulusan Volcano’s seismic network during the past 24 hours, according to The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Bulusan is still under Alert Level 1. Phivolcs advised the public not to enter inside the 4 kilometer Permanent Danger Zone (PDZ) as it may be affected by sudden steam explosions. [...]
