CDRC and BREAD, through the support of Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe, provided relief goods to to the families affected by Typhoon Pablo/Bopha in Brgys Tudila and Basa in Trento, Agusan del Sur. Most of the affected were farm workers in palm tree plantations. The strong typhoon severely affected their livelihood.
Volunteers in Butuan City are busy repacking goods for the relief operations in Agusan del Sur on Tuesday, December 18. This relief distribution is for the families affected by Typhoon Pablo/Bopha. This is in partnership with BREAD, and supported by Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe.
The CARAGA Region was one of the areas hardest-hit by Typhoon Pablo/Bopha. CDRC’s Regional Center, the Bread for Emergency Assistance and Development (BREAD), was one of the first NGOs to respond to the emergency.
