13-15 May 2016 – CDRC representative monitors progress of project implementation in Mindoro Occidental. #action medeor and #Aktion Deutschland Hilft (#ADH) support the project Improving Health Care and Disaster Response Capacities in Community-Level in 6 Communities in Mindoro Occidental. Project areas include Brgy. Rumbang in Rizal, Brgy. Central in San Jose, Brgys. San Nicholas and Sibalat in Magsaysay.

The general objective of the community-based disaster management and community-based health program is to implement a rehabilitative and proactive CBDM-CBHP for the marginalized sectors in the 6 communities in Mindoro Occidental through the implementation of an integrated and holistic development project that takes into account a community’s vulnerability to natural disasters by promoting community-based livelihood, health support, and training programs.
