Psycho-Social Training in Pasig City

24 June 2016 – Trainers from CDRC, Ilocos Center for Research, Empowerment and Development (ICRED), Cordillera Disaster Response and Development Services (CorDis), Alay-Bayan Luson, Inc. (ABI), Tarabang Para sa Bikol, Inc. (TABI), Bread for Emergency Assistance and Development (BREAD, Inc.), Disaster Response Center (DIRECT), Community Response for Enlightenment, Service and Transformation (CREST), and Mindanao Interfaith Services Foundation, Inc. (MISFI) conduct a Psycho-Social Training in Brgy. Palatiw, Pasig City. A total of 33 community leaders attended the activity. They were also survivors of a fire which affected 100 families, torched 50 houses, and claimed four lives last April 15, 2016.

The said activity is the result of a series of training of trainers (TOT) attended by the facilitators on April and November 2015 and June 2016. These TOTs were facilitated by the Israel Trauma Coalition (ITC) and supported by the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC).
