A feeding program was conducted in Brgy Malanday, Marikina for the children staying inside the evacuation center. CDRC and its team of volunteers also conducted a free play activity for the kids. This activity was in partnership with Samahan ng mga Manininda sa Marikina (SAMANA).

Update: Families affected by Ondoy continue to rise
The number of families affected by Tropical Storm Ondoy (international name Ketsana) continued to increase. The National Disaster Coordinating Council reported that 629,466 families of 3 million people have already been affected. UPDATE: TS Ondoy casualites increase to 324
The number of casualties from Tropical Storm Ondoy (international name Ketsana) has already reached 324. At least 277 were reported dead, 5 injured and 42 missing. In the National Capital Region alone, 123 people were killed, and in Region IV-A, 104. Over 100,000 of the 512,092 families affected by Ondoy are appealing for assistance from the Citizens’ Disaster Response Center....
