One of the hardest-hit provinces in Southern Philippines by Typhoon Pablo (Bopha) was Compostela Valley. Houses and crops were destroyed by strong winds and floods. MISFI, CDRC’s Regional Center in the area, immediately conducted a Damage, Needs and Capacities Assessment after the storm. The affected families are in need of food, water and medicine.

The Visayas Region was not spared from Typhoon Pablo (Bopha). These photos were taken in Negros Oriental and Negros Occidental by CDRC’s Regional Center, CPRS. Most of the affected areas were those hit by Typhoon Sendong last year. Several families in Brgy. Junob are still staying at temporary shelters, one year after Sendong. Their tents were easily torn by Pablo.
